Whitetracks Helicopters grew out of a love of the mountains, something which we're sure all our clients will identify with.
Richard Wood our founder and MD developed a love of the mountains, specifically the French Alps from childhood ski trips during his school years. Something about the mountains spoke to him and he knew that whatever happened in the future he would make his life there.
With sheer determination Richard spent several years doing ski seasons in Meribel, shaping his knowledge of the Alps and formulating the beginnings of an idea.
Richard (also known to his friends as Woody) became an accomplished skier, and he started to guide chalet guests around the mountains. Wanting to offer more to his clients he began to offer specialist experiences as a memorable addition to their ski breaks. He founded Whitetracks as a company offering winter activities to discerning clients, such as ice diving, bob sleighing, dog sledging, snowmobiling, hot air ballooning, paragliding etc. Soon Richard found that there was an interest in helicopter rides within the mountains.
Over time the number of clients requesting helicopter transfers grew and the Whitetracks that you see today developed. Whitetracks now offers exceptional luxury helicopter transfers to some of the world's most well-known and wealthy travellers. Today a team of highly trained personnel offer the best in luxury transfer to the world's elite, our extensive portfolio of client testimonials speaks for itself.
